Technology & Design is a key element of STEM that provides students with an opportunity to become creative thinkers and problem solvers. In an ever changing world, job opportunities reflect the need for innovation and creativity. 

The aim of Technology & Design within St Columb's College is to inspire students to challenge themselves. Through this subject pupils will have the opportunity to become confident in the design and manufacture of a product. Through active involvement our students are able to design, plan and manufacture projects. The subject allows students to use a variety of materials, tools & equipment, and processes to complete a task. Our subject teaches key skills as well as being enjoyable and hands-on!

The Technology & Design department offers pupils the opportunity to study the subject at GCSE, AS & A level.
