St Columb's College Year 8 Induction 2016

September, 2016 St Columb's College

Form Class

Your form class is an important part of life at St Columb’s College. You may know some of the other students in your class already, having been at Primary School together, but there will be many you don’t yet know. Get to know them - you could be making friends for life.

Once a day you will meet as a group with your Form Tutor for Registration. Your Form Tutor will become an important person in your life. He/she is there to help you when you need help, praise you when you deserve praise and also on occasions, to set you in the right direction. Registration is often a good moment to have a quiet word if you need help, though your Form Tutor can arrange to see you at other times if required.

Registration every day except Tuesdays begins at 9.10 a.m. and lasts until 9.25 a.m.  During this time important information will be given out to the class, so it is important to arrive promptly and go to your seat quickly.

On Tuesdays Registration lasts from 9.10 a.m. until 9.40 a.m.  During this time Year 8 students have their Assembly.

After Registration you will go to your first class.

Remember your Form Tutor is there to help, so make sure you also help them by being prompt!

During each week you will have a separate timetabled Form Period with your Tutor.  These classes are designed to help you become independent and get the very best out of your time at St Columb’s.
