I’m lost?

St Columb’s is a big school and it is very likely that you may get lost within the first few weeks!  At the same time for the first few weeks an older student will be assigned to your class to ensure that you know where to go.

If, however, you do get lost, here are a few helpful hints:

  1. Don’t panic - there are lots of people who are here to help you.  Remember you will have a copy of your timetable and a map of the school.
  2. Ask a teacher for help - he or she may ask to see your timetable; make sure you have it with you at all times.
  3. Ask a Prefect for help.  Prefects are Year 14 pupils.  They wear a Prefect’s badge on their blazer.
  4. If all else fails and you have lost your timetable and map, go to the Office.

If you arrive late to class because you were lost, apologise to the teacher and get settled at your desk quickly!
