St Columb's College Year 8 Induction
Your First Day
Your first day at St Columb’s will be Tuesday 30th August 2011. The day will begin at 9.30 a.m. in the Sports Hall.
There will be no school buses on that day so you will need to find your own way to and from school.
On your first day you will be in school until 3.30 p.m. This is a special day when very few other students will be in the school. It will allow you to meet your Form Tutor and class mates and find out about your timetable and other important information about life in St Columb’s.
You will need to bring a bag to carry home any books you may be given. This bag needs to be strong, weather-proof and large enough to hold files and folders. You should also bring a pen, pencil, a rubber and a sharpener.
You may also be given a locker key on the first day. It will be a good idea to have a key ring to put it on!
